Description

50bp plus DNA Ladder RTU (DM017-R500) is a 17 fragments molecular weight standard for agarose gel electrophoresis. Using the unique combination of a number of proprietary plasmids digested with appropriate restriction enzymes and PCR products yields fragments ranging from 50-1,500 base pairs. The 4 bands at 500, 1000, 1200, and 1500 base pairs have specifically increased in intensity to serve as the reference bands. The approximate mass of DNA in each band is provided (0.7405μg per load) for approximating the mass of DNA in comparably intense samples of similar size.

Source: PCR products and double-stranded DNA digested with appropriate restriction enzymes are phenol extracted and equilibrated to 10 mM Tris-HCl and 10mM EDTA at pH 8.0.

Reaction Setup: 5 μl / well ( **Containing bromophenol blue & xylene cyanol FF as tracking dyes. )

Range : 50 – 1,500 bps

Number of bands: 17

Storage :
Store at 4°C for 12 months
Store at -20°C for 24 months
